"I would" Blake said, smiling as he headed off to the near by computer terminal to fetch the medical kit. He opened it slightly, to make sure that there was everything he may have needed, before picking it up fully and carting the kit back over to Mercy.
He opened the kit once more, taking out some bandages, he began to remove Nois' shoe, and rolled up the trouser leg. Already, you could see bruising around the ankle and inflammation of the tissue surrounding it. "This may hurt a little" Blake warned as he began to move his foot, checking for signs of a break, he couldn't feel one evident, which to Blake, was a relief, as he would have no option to to carry Captain Mercy all the way to sick bay.
Grasping one of the bandages, he began to wrap it around the Vulcan leg tightly to support the muscle. Blake was unsure if he was doing well or not, this was his first attempt at doing anything medical in his life. "Hold this a second" He told him, and Nois quickly did so. While he held it, Blake grabbed some tape, and tore a piece off, then, moving his hand slightly, he placed a small strip of the tape over his leg. Then, wrapping yet more tape around the end of the bandage, it wasn't the prettiest of sights, but as long as it did the job, nothing else mattered.
He then helped the Vulcan to his feet again, and they left the holodeck together.

off: there would be an "a" in Naois..... on: Naois hissed as the cadet carefully pulled off his boot, suppressing a second hiss when he physically probed the injury. Obediently, he held on to the bandage as instructed, taking note of the fact that the cadet did bandage it appropriately. Gratefully he accepted the assistance in getting to his feet and the support while they made their way to sickbay. He listened as the cadet reported that initial investigation didn't show up any breaks, but the doctor on duty ushered him to a biobed anyway. "Hold still," the doctor, who happened to be Donolly, ordered. The old doctor knew the counselor captain better than anyone else. "Cadet you may want to make sure he doesn't move." "That will be unnecessary," the Vulcan responded, having the grace to look annoyed. "There is nowhere I can go until this is looked after." Donolly nodded, proped the foot himself and watched the Vulcan put on the most stoic expression he could muster. He could see the young man was in pain, but since he didn't ask for painkillers, Donolly knew better than to ask. "You did a good job cadet, however there are a few minute fractures and one of the ligands is torn through." He waved the cadet over and showed him how to detect it a next time. "Now, since the captain here is a stubborn man and won't listen when I tell him to keep off his feet, I'm not repairing the damage. I'm afraid you're going to be sporting a fancy cast for the next few weeks, Captain Mercy." "Sweet," Naois replied. "Mr Mitchell wait in my office, I shall join you as soon as I am able." An hour later, and sporting a nice Starfleet blue cast, Naois walked into his office, using a pair of crutches to walk on his own. "Good news cadet. I have just received your new orders. You are to report to the USS Dark Phoenix as soon as possible. You are assigned as security officer under Commander Peter Horn. He will be your immediate superior officer." He handed him another PADD. "This shows your graduation and your promotion to ensign. Additionally it bears an encrypted message to Doctor Valeia Roquel Mercy." He smiled slightly. "Just a message to my wife, if you would be so kind to deliver it. Congratulations ensign, and good luck on the Phoenix."
