He appeared in some ways like a feline. He might have been tall, if he had not walked with a light slouching gait. He was a Kzinti - quite an oddity in Starfleet, and because of this looked quite out of place.
His fur was quite similar to one of Earth's tigers with alternating orange and black stripes. At this he began to exhibit some of the pride of a tiger, finally standing straight and looking over while his fan like ears pressed to the back of his head. This mirrored the activity of furless and thin tail that curled up his spine.
He finally, stepping forward in his slightly out of fit uniform, made his way to a station on the Starbase of where he might provide his report. As he did, he made his name as any other Kzinti would - his specialty inside of his name.

Goran Talnak Rhian S'harien walks into the academy, looking around. He is tall, 6'4" standard and muscular from his years of security work. Being Romulan and being part of StarFleet feels unusual to him, and he remembers when he met his sister, well, half sister. His emerald green eyes scan the building, a habit of being paranoid.
He has cut his hair now, short, in the style of most romulans and vulcans. he walks with his back straight, and made his way to the Comandants office, where he would report himself for training hopefully as the new ships counselor.

After time being at Vulcan, J'val was interested in furthering his cureer in the technicalities of the professional field of science and how he could use them to his advantage. He was always interested in them while being back at his homeworld that he saw so much inspiration on the projects that he often would work on. He would wear a lab coat to his junior studies and while in university attend high level physics and chemistry.
He had so much fascination in both subjects that it would envelop him to look elsewhere and into a further career study. After seeing the starfleet recruiters at his university, and upon reading the information they had given him he happily looked it over and accepted the request to join, and went immediately to the academy to begin his cadet training.

Post by Dacian Peractio on Mar 18, 2009 1:47:51 GMT
Dacian Blakus Peractio stalwartly strolled in the direction of the Academy Commandant's office. His long, easy strides assisted by his tall frame and injected with a purpose, gave him an aura of stoic eagerness for reaching his destination, where he would be reporting in for his training.
He planned on training in the Starfleet Academy as a marine, and to join the Federation's Marine Core. His near-black, dark brown hair was cut short, although not greatly so, as to give him an approachable demeanour. For Blakus Peractio was not an everyday marine trainee, pushed into the career choice somewhat by his family, the matter was made worse by the realisation that he would have to endure the hardships of Starfleet training.
Still Peractio would take it, after all, it was in his blood. Modern day Human but Roman in origin by some freak of genealogy and biology. Training would focus his mind, allow him to prove his worth and perhaps ultimately to lend just one hand in the Federation's Marine Core.
Name: Blakus Peractio, Dacian (family name: Blakus. Given first name: Dacian (used only by immediate family). Family subset/nickname: Peractio).

Welcome aboard marine. Instead of acting ensign, which is the fleet rank, you shall be third lieutenant, which is the marine rank. I shall set up your training thread shortly.
regards, Captain Naois Mercy Academy Commandant
