I went to see Blue Man Group in Theater Fabriek in Amsterdam yesterday. Me and a friend had centre stage front row seats....and we had to wear a plastic coat to prevent our clothes from becoming sticky and drab. Cuz paint and goo was sent flying into the audience.
But...we had a blast! And we had pics with the Blue Men taken. 2 of them turn out very well the other, sadly is somewhat hazy.

Nice work Mark
Today I realised I was worth more and stood up for myself. I am a good person and do not deserve the no that has been flung at me in the last couple of months.
I refuse to be a doormat any longer and have taken steps to try protect others from it also happening to them. I realised my inner K'Nara ;D
I start my new job next week and its a new start for a stronger, wiser Deb.

My last day ever in postgrad. Feel very sad. Cleaned out the entire office. Its amazing how much junk you can acculmulate in 4 years nearly. My new desk awaits me tommorow as I move on to pastures new.
Will try and post at the weekend guys. Things are just abit hectic at the moment. Plus my face blowing up and sore eyes as a result mean I'm trying to keep computer stuff to a mimimum till they are back to normal. Will say though I look less vampire like today - thank goodness!!!!

Hey ya'll! Sorry I've been gone so long. I just finished some finals not to long ago and decided to try and put some of the stuff I learned in my creative writing class to some use. My teacher would always say, details, details, details. So I hope I'm not adding too many details now!

Do DVD's count for music too? In that case I bought/got a few music items over the last 6 months too:
Take That - Beautiful World Take That - 2005 Manchester Concert Take That - Never forget (dvd, b'day gift) DJ Tiësto - Elements of Life Blue Man Group - Audio Blue Man Group - Complex Live Rock tour <DVD> Madonna - Confessions on the dancefloor Justin Timberlake - Future Sex something....
Then I also bought some DVD (boxes): Buck Rogers season 1 and 2 Seaquest season 1 TAS DS9 season 1 Happy Feet
Oh and I went to see Blue Man Group last month. See something amazing, indeed! it was awesome! And hubby and me are going to see Take That in November. Can't wait! Last concert I went to <real concert> was in 1995! Which happened to be a Take That concert! (and I soooo regret overtaping 'Live at Berlin') as I went to see that same concert in '95 in Hamburg (both in germany btw). And yes I was not even 16 then!

I'm going to be seeing the 'Australian Pink Floyd'
We've seen the real Floyd a few times ..
We go on the 7th July .. My brother, who i'm going with, has seen the tribute band a couple of times, and says they are the closest thing to seeing Pink Floyd without the group actually being there !
Lets hope eh ;D

Mark, everyones musical appreciation differs greatly. Lets just leave it at that ehh!
I burnt my arm at work 3 times. Am covered in painful red marks.

ouch @ Debs @ Dexter: I used to be, and pretty much still am a take that fan. You love Muse...I don't like THEIR music. Each respect their own music choices, I reckon?
I got my Mantoux test today...arm turned bit spotted red right when she injected the first drop of whatever I'm injected with. Mantoux tests for antibodies of tuberculosis...I have to undergo this torture twice a year.

My accidents keep on coming. I am beginning to think someones made a voodoo doll of me. This morning I was early so went for a walk to get some hayfever tablets from the nearby tesco's and coming back I slipped and this is the amazing part -
Did the splits, ME
Boy did it hurt as I smashed my knee going down.

Ouch! I can relate because I'm not the most coordinated person in the world. I tried to ride a skateboard once and when I started to go it flew out from underneath my feet and I fell on my butt. What was embarrassing the most was that the skateboard belonged to a boy I really liked at the time.

*nods* worst smacker I ever made was oh...well over a decade and a half ago. I tried on my brother's ice-hockey skates, just for the fun of it <back then we had the same size, imagine that> however I'm used to figure skates, with the ribbly things on the front anda straight blade ending in a point on the back.
I always used the back to brake and the front to set off....so, forgetting that the hockey ones have a curved blade without any points, I set off and tried to brake, the usual way. I landed flat on my back and knocked my head rather hard on the ice <despite there being 10cm of snow on it!>
